Objectives

- To graduate students capable to carryout fieldworks in the engineering geology and/or in Environmental geology and geological hazards specializations.
- To conduct research in the fields of engineering geology, Environmental geology and in geological hazards such as slope stability analysis, soil foundation, earth working, flooding hazards, sand dunes movements, and subsidence problems, etc.
- To provide consultation service to both government agency and private firms.
- To offer short courses and to participates in specialized workshops for both government and private agencies such as municipality and civil defense.
