About

History

The Department of Engineering Geology was established in 1394 AH as one of the departments of the Faculty of Earth Sciences. In 1420 AH, it was approved to add a specialization of Environmental Geology to the department to become named “The Department of Engineering and Environmental Geology”. The department offers the following degrees in Engineering and Environmental Geology:

  1. Associate Diploma in Crisis and Disaster Management.
  2. Bachelor degree in engineering geology and environmental geology.
  3. Executive master degree in Crisis and Disaster Management.
  4. Master degree in engineering geology and environmental geology (courses and thesis).
  5. Master degree in engineering geology and environmental geology (courses and project - Engineering Geology Major).
  6. Master degree in engineering geology and environmental geology (courses and project - Enviromental Geology Major).
  7. PhD degree in engineering and environmental geology.
